Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and global trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead executive workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Develop patent-pending innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at industry conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic signals impacting future markets
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading products
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published author in futurism journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Experience building and scaling foresight teams within tech organizations
