Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks incorporating AI, biotech, and climate convergence trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board members
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives aligned with future market landscapes
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings quantifying long-term market disruption risks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend analysis
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Published research or thought leadership in foresight publications
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
