Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization timelines
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum systems, synthetic biology, or decentralized tech
- Advanced degree in STEM field or MBA from top-tier institution
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Strong stakeholder management experience across global organizations
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or incubators
