Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests with luggage, transportation, and check-in procedures
- Safely transport luggage and personal items to guest rooms using hotel-approved equipment
- Provide detailed recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and events
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of lobby, entrance, and baggage areas
- Coordinate with front desk staff to resolve guest requests promptly
- Assist with valet parking and shuttle services as needed
- Execute emergency procedures during inclement weather or security incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel hospitality or customer service role
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of New Orleans geography and culture
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for reservation systems
