Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and answering any initial questions.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest registrations efficiently, verify personal information, and handle check-out procedures and payments.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or the hotelβs digital portal promptly and professionally.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or concerns with a solution-oriented attitude and escalate complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Reservations: Assist in managing room inventory and update reservation systems to ensure accurate availability.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area and lobby environment.
- Security: Verify the identity of guests and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management coursework is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
