Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all public areas, guest rooms, and suites are immaculate.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or special requests regarding room cleanliness or amenities promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Engineering, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and systems.
- Cleaning certification or relevant hospitality training is preferred.
