Responsibilities
- Supervise and train the housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain the resort's luxury reputation.
- Oversee the scheduling and delegation of daily cleaning tasks to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints regarding room cleanliness or service promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations during high occupancy periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable standards.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and computerized inventory systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality management is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
