Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/out procedures using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with solution-oriented approach
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure operational excellence
- Upsell hotel amenities and local experiences to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols and manage key systems
- Collaborate with concierge team to deliver personalized guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record (for errands)
- Basic knowledge of Portland attractions and transportation networks
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
