Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service during check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries using our property management system
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams for seamless operations
- Process payments accurately and maintain detailed guest records
- Act as local concierge, recommending attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service experience in a hospitality or retail setting
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of San Diego attractions and transportation
