Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance teams
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor room availability and manage reservations for optimal occupancy
- Uphold brand standards through personalized guest interactions
- Collaborate with security team to ensure guest safety and property security
- Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate guest records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability in fast-paced environments
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for property errands)
