Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/checkouts using hotel property management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet services for seamless operations
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and premium amenities
- Monitor security protocols and emergency procedures
- Prepare daily reports and reconcile cash/credit transactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and transportation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (for valet coordination)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
