Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes while maintaining accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining teams to ensure operational excellence
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures with precision
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera) to update reservations and guest preferences
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or customer service role
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera experience preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid California driver's license (if required for property errands)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and transportation options
