Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes and reservation systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and efficiency
- Process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and manage cash handling
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for guest services
- Utilize property management systems to update availability and occupancy data
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and hotel amenities
- Maintain organized front desk operations and ensure lobby presentation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, FOSSE, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Valid North Carolina hospitality certification preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and transportation options
- Positive attitude with commitment to exceeding guest expectations
