Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and room key distribution.
- Perform comprehensive night audit duties, ensuring all financial transactions and reporting are accurate.
- Monitor building security and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with a high level of professionalism.
- Maintain the lobby and common areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming atmosphere for early morning arrivals.
- Handle cash handling and credit card transactions with strict adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of guest information and tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
- Must be available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during quiet hours.
