Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/checkouts using Opera PMS system
- Handle reservation modifications and upselling opportunities for premium services
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Implement safety protocols during emergency situations
- Conduct daily audits of occupancy reports and room status
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
