Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalized check-in/check-out processes
- Manage reservation systems and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness
- Process payments and manage billing discrepancies accurately
- Utilize property management systems (Opera, Fidelio) to maintain guest profiles
- Execute upselling strategies for premium rooms and hotel amenities
- Maintain security protocols for guest and property safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or hospitality experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism and local attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Illinois driver's license preferred
