Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Process payments and prepare accurate bills for guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with luggage storage and provide directions or transportation recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails with a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, SkyTouch).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
