Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and a seamless check-in process.
- Manage reservations, check guests in and out efficiently, and handle room assignments accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and maintain accurate daily cash and credit records.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Answer telephone inquiries and provide information regarding local attractions and hotel amenities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hotel, resort, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Must be detail-oriented, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
