Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Manage daily front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing reservations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring all financial records are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are clean and ready for arrival.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area that reflects the brand's standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required by the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
