Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage hotel reservations, room assignments, and guest requests with precision and efficiency.
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby space.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrival.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Must possess a professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
