Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out procedures using hotel management systems
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Resolve guest complaints and inquiries with prompt, professional solutions
- Operate switchboard and manage multi-line phone systems
- Process reservations and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Provide local area recommendations and assist with transportation arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, PMS, or similar hotel management software
- Exceptional communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish/Chinese a plus
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments during peak hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred for guest shuttle services
