Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently using our state-of-the-art property management system.
- Provide accurate information about local Miami attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with patience and professionalism.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming lobby and front desk area at all times.
- Assist with housekeeping coordination and lobby maintenance as needed.
- Upsell room upgrades and hotel amenities to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with property management software (e.g., Opera, Little Hotelier).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
