Responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Greet guests warmly, answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
- Handle all front desk operations, including answering telephones, managing emails, and processing reservations.
- Address guest complaints or issues immediately, escalating to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the lobby area in pristine condition and ensure the front desk is organized and stocked.
- Process payments accurately and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and facilities meet our high standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (PMS) is a plus but training is provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is not required but may be helpful for local area knowledge.
