Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration information and payment details.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to emails and messages promptly.
- Provide accurate information regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a calm, solution-oriented manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.
