Responsibilities
- Provide warm, welcoming greetings to guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain a pristine lobby and front desk area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, room service orders, and special requests.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Property Management Software (PMS) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (e.g., luggage).
