Responsibilities
- Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs for guests using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Resolve guest complaints and inquiries with a positive attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Manage the front desk lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Assist with concierge requests, including restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update profiles with new information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
