Responsibilities
- Greet and Register Guests: Welcome visitors with a warm smile, check them in efficiently using our state-of-the-art property management system, and assign rooms.
- Guest Relations: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Phone and Email Management: Handle incoming calls professionally, take accurate messages, and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner.
- Payment Processing: Process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and online transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company financial policies.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment, ensuring the front desk area is always presentable.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business-related degree is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Fidelio is a significant advantage.
