Responsibilities

  • Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, checking them in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
  • Front Office Operations: Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence with a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Security & Safety: Monitor hotel security systems, including CCTV, and ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
  • Facility Maintenance: Report maintenance issues to the engineering department and ensure the lobby and front desk areas are pristine and well-stocked.
  • Revenue Management: Upsell room rates and promote hotel amenities to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, departures, and account transactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or hospitality certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, GuestLine).
