Your Mission:
As the face of The Grand Denver Hotel, you will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and comfortable from the moment they arrive. You will manage check-in and check-out processes with efficiency, answer inquiries about local attractions, and handle guest requests with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local services.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with concierge services, including restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must possess a professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
