Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures with speed and accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues proactively
- Process reservations and room assignments using Opera/PMS systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute upselling strategies to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with reservation management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid Michigan hospitality certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor
