Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Register and check-in guests efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to guest satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Manage daily cash transactions, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile credit card settlements.
- Concierge Support: Provide local recommendations, arrange transportation, and assist with special requests.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel premises, enforce safety protocols, and report any maintenance issues or irregularities.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk and lobby area.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or front desk operations is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor with a "can-do" attitude.
- Availability: Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
