Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure a seamless arrival experience.
- Guest Relations: act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving issues efficiently with a smile.
- Reservation Management: manage the reservation system to update room availability, process bookings, and accommodate special requests.
- Lobby Maintenance: maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the reception area and lobby to reflect our high standards.
- Communication: effectively communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to coordinate guest needs and service requests.
- Policy Adherence: enforce hotel policies regarding safety, security, and billing to ensure a secure environment for all guests.
- Administrative Tasks: perform basic cashier duties, handle mail and messages, and manage the switchboard or digital communication systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Customer Focus: Strong ability to anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn hotel management software and POS systems.
