Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently using property management systems (PMS).
- Greet visitors and guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local directions.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining strict financial accountability.
- Assist with concierge services, including providing recommendations for dining, entertainment, and transportation in the Nashville area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to ensure a professional appearance.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or hospitality certification is a plus.
- Previous customer service or reception experience is preferred but not required (entry-level friendly).
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and PMS software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage or supplies.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
