Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, check them in efficiently, and ensure a smooth check-out process.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, answering inquiries about local attractions, amenities, and hotel policies.
- Operations: Manage the front desk console, including handling reservations, processing payments, and managing the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Visual Standards: Maintain a pristine and organized lobby and front desk area, ensuring it reflects the high standards of our property.
- Assistance: Assist guests with special requests, including room service, wake-up calls, and transportation arrangements.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and ensure room readiness.
- Documentation: Accurately record guest information and handle guest feedback or complaints with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality coursework is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred, but we welcome entry-level candidates with strong interpersonal skills.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing skills; experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a significant plus.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, a professional appearance, and a genuine desire to help others.
