Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm, welcoming greeting to all guests and handle check-ins and check-outs with speed and accuracy.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, manage emails, and relay messages promptly to ensure seamless operations.
- Reception Management: Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Reservations: Assist with room bookings, manage special requests, and update guest profiles in our Property Management System (PMS).
- Security: Verify identification and secure guest keys, adhering strictly to hotel safety and security protocols.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Process invoices, post charges, and balance the daily shift report accurately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated Entry Level candidates.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, polished appearance.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attitude: A positive, proactive, and guest-focused mindset is essential.
