Your Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is vital in setting the tone for their stay, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. You will manage daily front desk operations, handle inquiries with grace, and maintain a pristine lobby environment.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all visitors and guests warmly, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Process registrations, reservations, and payments efficiently using our property management system.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, manage email inquiries, and route messages accurately to staff members.
- Mail & Packages: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to guests and departments in a timely manner.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining guest logs.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level position.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and hotel PMS software is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
