Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently manage the registration process, verify guest information, and process payments using the Property Management System.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer incoming calls with a friendly tone, respond to email inquiries, and manage the switchboard during peak hours.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address guest needs and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Information Desk: Provide guests with local recommendations, directions, and information about hotel amenities and services.
- Administrative Support: Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, organize the lobby, and assist with mail and package handling.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level position.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel software (POS systems) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
