Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including verifying identification and processing payments securely.
- Answer multi-line telephone systems with a clear and friendly voice, routing calls to the appropriate department promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby at all times.
- Assist with mail distribution, package handling, and concierge services as required.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; some college or hospitality training is a plus.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Windows, Microsoft Office) and reservation systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
