Responsibilities
- Seamlessly manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel property management systems
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and room assignments with precision
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments accurately and maintain detailed guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, valet, and maintenance teams for optimal service
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record (if required for valet)
- Basic knowledge of Austin attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
