Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Process payments, manage reservations, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Uphold brand standards through attentive service and facility awareness
- Maintain accurate shift reports and guest preference logs
- Execute emergency procedures with calm authority
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera/PMS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure scenarios
- Valid Florida driver's license (required for occasional errands)
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville attractions and transportation
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
