Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle reservation modifications and optimize room occupancy rates
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional service standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain financial accuracy
- Utilize CRM systems to personalize guest experiences and loyalty program engagement
- Train junior staff on operational procedures and service excellence
Qualifications
- 2+ years hospitality or customer service experience required
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions and transportation
- Valid Illinois driver's license (for airport runs when needed)
