Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: warmly welcome guests upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: act as the primary point of contact for guests, answering questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Reservation Management: assist with incoming reservations, room modifications, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: handle guest complaints and inquiries with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Front Desk Operations: maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, manage the telephone system, and process payments accurately.
- Housekeeping Coordination: communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals and address maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
