What You Will Do:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for managing the front operations of our hotel/property, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including verifying identity and payment information.
- Answer incoming calls and route inquiries to the appropriate department or staff members.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests with empathy and professionalism to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Process reservations, maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Assist with administrative duties such as mail sorting, faxing, and filing.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure a clean and safe environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in front desk operations, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight (up to 20 lbs).
- A professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
