As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel. Your role is vital in ensuring our guests feel welcomed, valued, and well taken care of from the moment they arrive until they depart. Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide warm, professional greetings to guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Reservation Management: Manage hotel reservations accurately, including handling modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
- Concierge Services: Answer inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation to enhance the guest experience.
- Communication: Relay important messages and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure guest needs are met.
- Security & Access: Monitor access logs, verify identification, and ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, maintain accurate logs, and perform nightly audits as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on courtesy and professionalism.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be comfortable using Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard office software.
- Appearance: Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts to meet business demands.
