Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Efficiently process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate data entry and seamless transactions using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by answering inquiries, responding to requests, and resolving any guest issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the switchboard, handle incoming calls, and distribute messages promptly. Handle cash, credit card, and check payments with strict adherence to company policies and security procedures.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room bookings, manage room availability, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
- Mail and Messages: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and faxes to guests in a timely manner.
- Security and Safety: Adhere to all safety and security protocols, including fire safety inspections and emergency procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, room status, and guest feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and comfortable learning new hotel software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Professional Appearance: Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to the company’s uniform and grooming standards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
