Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, checking them in and out efficiently using our property management system.
- Answer incoming phone calls, manage guest correspondence, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in.
- Stay updated on local attractions, dining options, and transportation to assist guests with recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
- Professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
