Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, checking them in efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming calls, manage emails, and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring all financial records are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and restaurant reservations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area and lobby to uphold our high standards of presentation.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests to ensure a memorable guest experience.
- Cross-train in other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and bell services, as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with the luxury hospitality industry.
