Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the management team when necessary.
- Phone Operations: Answer incoming calls promptly, manage voicemails, and route calls to the appropriate departments or extensions.
- Front Desk Management: Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
- Reservations & Billing: Assist with processing reservations and managing daily guest accounts and payments accurately.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel safety and security protocols and verify the identity of guests checking out.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with computer systems, POS systems, and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if valet or parking assistance is required).
