Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests via phone, email, and in-person with empathy.
- Process payments accurately and maintain accurate daily financial logs.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain the organization and professional appearance of the front desk lobby area.
- Assist with lobby concierge duties and provide local area recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and property management software (e.g., Oracle Opera).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
