Responsibilities
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict adherence to security protocols and audit procedures.
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organized, and visually appealing condition at all times.
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) to update guest profiles and communicate special requests to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and prompt issue resolution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
